How to make banana and strawberry cake

- Microwave at 600W for 1 minute, stir, then heat for 50-60 seconds. Mix and add vanilla extract, wrap well with plastic wrap and leave to cool.
- Prepare the cake batter: mix the sugar with the butter. Add 1 whole egg and mix well. Add almond powder. Add the flour in 3 steps, mixing each time.
- Prepare the puff pastry: Sift the flour. Beat the eggs.
- Pour oil and water into a saucepan over low heat and melt the oil. When the liquid begins to boil a little, add flour, turn off the heat and mix for 1 minute.
- Reduce the heat and knead for 1.5 minutes with a tablespoon, then turn off the heat. Heat the oven to 200°C.
- Add the eggs a little at a time and mix with each addition. Stir in the eggs until the mixture is thick and remains briefly on the spoon before slowly drying.

- Sprinkle lightly with water and bake for 17 minutes at 200°C and then 10 minutes at 180°C.
- Whisk sugar and cream. Cut the strawberries in half. Cut the bananas into slices and sprinkle them with lemon juice.
- When the puff pastry has cooled, cut off the top and put the custard, banana and strawberry on the bottom. Apply the cream to the face.
- We add the top and bottom and, if desired, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
